Greenheart Juice Shop Is Opening Soon in Vienna

The popular juice business offers a full food menu too.

A healthy local brand is growing again. Greenheart Juice Shop, which already has locations in Aldie, Leesburg and Middleburg, will open its fourth store in Vienna in mid-September.

“We’ve received overwhelming support and praise from Vienna residents during our stints at the farmers market and can’t wait to have a space to personally welcome all of our Northern Virginia and DC-area fans!” owner Alicia Swanstrom said in a press release.

The 2,000-square-foot space will hold Greenheart’s line of juices and cashew milks, but also a menu of foods that will make diners feel virtuous. The large menu will include salads, açaí bowls and granola medleys. Farm-fresh juices include the popular Liquid Gold, which blends carrot, pineapple, turmeric, ginger and pear. Seasonal Summer Crush is a simple combination of watermelon, aloe, mint and lime. The watermelon’s lycopene and citrulline are both good for your heart, so there’s more benefit to the juice than great taste and hydration. Another signature is the cold-brew latte. It features cold-brew coffee, cashew milk, medjool dates for sweetness and Himalayan pink salt.

The juices contain no added sugars or preservatives, but their greatest asset may be the fact that they’re produced in a hydraulic cold press. That method means that Greenheart produces juice with a higher nutrient content per ounce than what’s made in a standard juicer found in homes and at juice bars that don’t cold-press. This is a case of something that tastes good that will also make you feel good. // 208 Dominion Road, Vienna
