It’s not just for Silicon Valley anymore.
Quick fixes instead of full meals are apparently attractive on this coast too (please read this on Soylent and this on Schmoylent), as Proatmeal, prepackaged instant oats mix combined with organic brown rice protein, is being made in Leesburg.
Proatmeal, from brothers Jeff and Greg Shuster, offers “the sustained energy of quality oats with more protein than any bar or shake … [and] 15 fewer grams of sugar [than] your average Greek yogurt.”
The Shusters have already exceeded their $5,000 goal with pledges of almost $21,000, but if you want in on a box of instant oats ($10), the 100-calorie to-go packs ($15) or a two-month supply ($100), you have until tomorrow. [Kickstarter]
