Northern Virginia’s craft beverage scene is evolving, and new breweries are opening across the region. Here are four new and coming-soon spots offering IPAs and lagers plus food and live entertainment.
Crooked Run Fermentation Del Ray Taproom
Crooked Run Fermentation is expanding with a new Del Ray taproom, bringing the brewery’s creative beer lineup to one of Alexandria’s most walkable neighborhoods. The brand is known for experimental IPAs, lagers, and small-batch releases. The location is expected to open late this summer. 2003 Mount Vernon Ave., Alexandria

Voodoo Brewing Co.
The Pennsylvania-based craft brewery chain is nearing its debut in Herndon’s Innovation Center area. The brewpub will feature Voodoo’s popular lineup of IPAs, lagers, and specialty beers alongside a full food menu. The opening is expected to add another major player to Fairfax County’s expanding craft brewery scene. 2315 Dulles Station Blvd., Herndon

NH44 Indian Brewing Company
Indian flavors meet craft brewing at NH44 Indian Brewing Company, where the menu pairs house-brewed beers with dishes inspired by the subcontinent. On the beverage side, the brewery is producing its own lineup of craft brews, including a basmati rice lager. Small-batch beers feature ingredients such as ginger, cardamom, rose, and hibiscus. A full bar with cocktails, wine, and spirits rounds out the experience. 2336 Silver Arrow Way, Arrowbrook Centre, Herndon
Hawkley Brewing
Hawkley Brewing opened in the former Juicy Brewing Co. space, which was also the original home of Aslin Beer Company. The brewery features a rotating lineup of house-brewed IPAs, lagers, sours, and wheat beers, with plans for food trucks, live music, and community events. Founded by former federal employee Monte Hawkins and brewer Mike Kulha, Hawkley aims to be a neighborhood gathering spot. 257 Sunset Park Dr., Herndon
