Foodees Fest
April 17 to 19, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday
Try a little bit of everything with more than 40 food vendors at this event. In addition to food and drink, there will be booths with artisans and crafters to check out as you stroll through Springfield Town Center. 6500 Springfield Mall, Springfield, free

Pickle & International Food Festival
April 18 and 19, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. (VIP); 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

The Thai Town Association of the DMV Thai Street Food & Culture Center
April 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Enjoy authentic Thai street food and traditional performances at this event by the Thai Town Association of the DMV. There will be crafts, entertainment, and a market-like atmosphere. The event is free, including free parking, and is pet friendly, too. 9101 Prince William St., Manassas
Northern Virginia Tea Festival

A specific May date is TBD, but the Northern Virginia Tea Festival is an opportunity to spend the day learning about and sampling teas. The event typically offers three different programs, including one for children, and includes a vendor market.

Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival
May 2, noon to 6 p.m.
Enjoy more than 60 beers, 40 types of bourbons, and lots of barbecue at this lively festival. Each guest gets a souvenir glass to carry around while trying whole hogs, brisket, chicken, sausage, and more. There will be a carnival to try your hand at games like Connect Four, cornhole, and a Giant Jenga. Mount Vernon Spring Wine Festival
May 15 to May 17, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Toast to America’s 250th at Mount Vernon’s annual Spring Wine Festival. In addition to sampling Virginia wines, guests can also tour the mansion after hours. Strawberry Jubilee Fest

Celebrate the juicy red fruit at Great Country Farms with lots of strawberry-themed food like ice cream, lemonade, and strawberry rhubarb pies. There will also be family-friendly activities like live music, wagon rides, and farm contests. Bull Run Wine Festival

The Winery at Bull Run is hosting a two-day extravaganza with wine tastings, food, live music, and local artisans. Taste of Springfield
