Nationals Park is usually bustling with baseball fans, but what if you could experience a five-course dining experience right in center field? The return of the Stadium Chef Series will let local foodies experience a dinner like no other.
On Wednesday, October 29, the baseball stadium will be transforming into a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The fine-dining experience brings together local and national chefs, including James Beard Award winners and nominees. The Stadium Chef Series is now in its fourth year overall and its second year in DC.
This year’s lineup is led by chef Matthias Merges and includes dishes from Carlos Delgado of Causa, Kevin Tien of Moon Rabbit, Angel Barreto of Anju, Rob Rubba of Oyster Oyster, and desserts by Isabel Coss of Pascual and Lutèce.

“This isn’t just about food in a ballpark; it’s about delivering a high-end dining experience, showcasing the artistry of local chefs, and connecting fans to the flavors that define their cities,” said Megan Cantwell, SVP of marketing and events at Marquee Development in a recent press release.
Tickets for the Stadium Chef Series are $450 for the Signature Experience, which includes the five-course dining experience, a special gift, a welcome cocktail, and complimentary parking.
Capital One cardholders also have access to purchase the Capital One Access Pass for $550. These tickets also include a pre-dinner reception in the team’s clubhouse. Guests will be able to enjoy beverages and appetizers made by Matt Conroy of Pascual and Lutèce, Scott Drewno of The Fried Rice Collective, Juan & Manuel Oliviera of Ceibo, and Mike Rehm of Nationals Park. Capital One ticketholders will also have access to the indoor batting cages, photo opportunities, and a chance to meet the chefs. Tickets from the event benefit the James Beard Foundation.
The Capital One Access Pass reception begins at 5:30, while the Signature Experience arrival starts at 6:30 p.m. The dinner begins at 7 p.m.
