Kids aren’t the only ones that grow up fast. So do the region’s favorite businesses. After opening its first location in Herndon back in 2015, Aslin Beer Co. is now celebrating its 10th anniversary with a big bash in Alexandria.
Head to the brewery’s Alexandria location from 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, to partake in Aslin10, a birthday bash to remember.
It wouldn’t be a celebration without beer. The festival will feature more than 60 varieties of Aslin beer. The brewery will debut four anniversary beers and put together a lineup of Alternate Reality Brews.
The Alternate Reality Brews includes a lineup of fan-favorite pours with a twist. Take, for example, a pour of Old Town Lager with taco seasoning, or Scuzzi with hot honey. These creations are only available on Saturday and will be released throughout the festival.
Beer lovers can also look forward to the grub. The TikTok-famous food truck Flavor Hive will join Aslin’s onsite kitchen concept, Izzi, to create one-day-only specials, including a build-your-own bag of spaghetti. Scuttlebutt Bakeshop and Bun’d Up will serve additional breads and baked goods.
And, what’s a party without entertainment? The lineup for the day will feature both live music performances and stand-up comedy — a total of six sets for the day. Bands Quarters of Change, SNACKTIME, and Pinkhouse will rock the festival, while comedians Matt Braunger, Caitlin Peluffo, and Dan St. Germain are bringing the laughs.
General admission tickets are $50 when purchased in advance and $55 at the door. A GA ticket includes four 4-ounce pours and a commemorative taster glass. VIP tickets are $75 and include unlimited pours, a commemorative taster glass, an exclusive tasting of a WAX brew, and early entry. It is $30 for a non-drinking ticket and $10 for kids under 17, which includes bottomless lemonade and kid-friendly activities and bites.
Additional beer tickets are also available for purchase. 847 S. Pickett St., Alexandria
