The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) has announced that it will be adding 11 new concessions options to Dulles International and Reagan National Airports in the next year. Among the new dining spots are local breweries and restaurants that many in NoVA will recognize.
“The Airports Authority continues its focus on brands that represent the regional DC experience,” said Jaimini Erskine, the Airports Authority’s vice president for marketing and concessions. “These openings enhance the passenger experience and create economic opportunities for businesses around the area to deliver high-quality, local, and unique offerings.”
This is part of MWAA’s ongoing effort to add or renovate more than 80 concessions options. Since 2023, it has added 47 new or renovated food and drink stations. Here are some of the new airport offerings.
Coming to Dulles
- Perch & Roost: All-day offerings with a focus on breakfast, sandwiches, and salads.
- Social House: A Loudoun County restaurant serving craft beers.
- 2 Silos Brewing Co.: A variety of local craft beer from the Manassas-based brewery in NOVA Live.
- The Market at Shenandoah (with Starbucks): A retail marketplace with “an array of local products” and a full-service Starbucks.
- Wanderlust: Gourmet chocolates, gifts, and DC souvenirs.
- Starbucks: A new location of the national coffee chain.
- Clyde’s: The well-known restaurant serves burgers and American food.
- Aslin Beer Co.: A local brewery with locations in Alexandria, Herndon, and DC.
Coming to Reagan National
- Maker’s Union: American gastropub food, with locations in Reston, Arlington, and DC.
- Wiseguy Pizza: Fast-casual pizza with locations around NoVA and DC.
Other new concessions recently opened at Dulles International include Ben’s Chili Bowl, Rappahannock Oyster Bar, and Gatsby restaurant. At Reagan National, a Half Moon Empanadas kiosk also opened within the last few months.
MWAA notes that the construction of the new Concourse E at Dulles, slated for late 2026, will add even more concessions options. And Reagan will have some renovations at its Terminal 2 and the National Hall.
