Andy’s Pizza is officially opening its new Virginia Square location today. To celebrate the grand opening, guests who purchase a six-pack or bottle of wine on opening weekend will get two free slices of pizza.
The new location, at 901 N. Pollard St., Arlington, is the 11th location for the local chain, but this is the first outpost in Arlington. Other NoVA locations are in Fairfax, Tysons, and Old Town Alexandria.
“It’s been a long road, but we are absolutely stoked after tonight’s small gathering of family and friends. We can’t wait to welcome you into your new favorite local pizza shop,” Andy’s announced in an Instagram post on Thursday.
The Virginia Square location has been in the works for over a year, originally set for a late March opening. It fills the space that Ballston Place Gourmet vacated.
Known for New York–style pies, Andy’s has received acclaim from several local media outlets, including The Washington Post and our 2024 list of the Best Places to Get Pizza in NoVA.
Grab a friend and a slice or a pie from the extensive menu. Theres’s a selection of classic varieties like pepperoni and margherita, plus specialty pies like the pepperoni special, which comes with clumps of burrata and a drizzle of hot honey.
The free-slice deal is only available at the new Ballston location.
