Popular DC bar and restaurant Bar Chinois, known for its Chinese food and French influences, has a second location coming to National Landing this May.
The new location will be open daily from 5 to 11 p.m., at 244 19th Ct. S., Arlington.
“We are excited to bring Bar Chinois to National Landing. Our goal is to create the same energetic experience that brings people together — offering bold flavors, creative cocktails, and warm hospitality that keep guests coming back,” said Dean Mosones, co-owner of Bar Chinois.
The original Bar Chinois has received several accolades, including the 2024 RAMMY Award for Best Bar in DC and inclusions in Michelin Dining Guide USA.
The new 2,800-square-foot space has a vibrant and modern aesthetic.
The menu will feature dishes like red chili wontons, crab rangoon, 1970s garlic noodles, and gyoza de boeuf. The eatery will also serve a selection of French wine and seasonally inspired cocktails such as the Lucky Dragon, a clarified-milk creation that blends grapefruit gin with rum, dragon fruit, passionfruit, and pineapple amaro.
Happy hour will be every day between 5 to 7 p.m., featuring half-priced cocktails and $1 dumplings.
