Chinese Korean eatery CHīKO is debuting a new location in Cascades, with a grand opening February 7 at 5 p.m.
The new location is at 46308 Cranston St., Potomac Falls, in the Cascades Marketplace. This is the fifth CHīKO location, following spots in DC, Maryland, California, and Shirlington.
While past locations have leaned into a fast-casual atmosphere, the new Cascades location will debut with a full-service bar. It’s part of the brand’s mission to debut an “evolved brand with a fresh look” and offer guests an “elevated yet approachable space to enjoy CHīKO’s signature dishes,” according to a news release.

“This location represents the next step in our journey, combining our beloved menu with a comfortable, full-service setting that’s perfect for our guests,” said chef and partner Danny Lee.
The menu items in question include dishes such as “orange-ish” chicken, pork-and-kimchi pot stickers, and cumin lamb stir-fry. The food “merges the rich culinary traditions of Chinese and Korean cuisine with a contemporary twist.”
At the bar, guests will find craft cocktails, wine, and other beverages.
The grand opening kicks off at 5 p.m., and guests who arrive between 5 and 8 p.m. will be treated to free dumplings.
