Wine and Dine Your Valentine at One of These Northern Virginia Restaurants

Book a table for two at these holiday dining destinations.

By Maggie Roth January 28, 2025 at 10:25 am

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. And a romantic meal at an area restaurant is the perfect way to celebrate the occasion with your love. Just don’t wait to book your reservation!

L’Auberge Chez François

Indulge in a seven-course meal with chef Jacques Haeringer’s “Musical Celebration Experience Menu” at this French spot in Great Falls. The special menu on February 14, ranging from $150 to $170 per person, features noteworthy entrée options like chateaubriand for two, beef Wellington, and Maine lobster with lump crabmeat. Continue the celebration at home with an optional bottle of chilled rosé and a box of Grand Marnier–infused chocolate truffles. 332 Springvale Rd., Great Falls

The Conche

Where better to spend Valentine’s Day than a restaurant with a focus on chocolate? The Conche, led by chef Santosh Tiptur, will offer a five-course holiday dinner with a Champagne toast in its eclectic, contemporary Leesburg space. Here, cocoa isn’t limited just to the dessert menu — you may detect notes of the rich flavor throughout your meal. 1605 Village Market Blvd. SE, Leesburg

Goodstone Inn & Restaurant

Pair a romantic dinner with a night away in Middleburg. This boutique inn is offering a “Be Mine” package for the duration of February, which includes a bottle of sparkling wine, a “chocolate lovers charcuterie board,” and a bouquet of roses when you book a room. Make a reservation to visit the onsite fine-dining restaurant, The Conservatory, for seasonally driven tasting menus crafted with ingredients right from the garden. 36205 Snake Hill Rd., Middleburg

Trademark

This recently renovated American brasserie in the Westin Alexandria Old Town hotel will host a special $95 Valentine’s menu with five courses (each paired with wine or a cocktail). Diners can feast on arugula and asparagus salad, creamy lobster ravioli, seared halibut, and strip steak before sharing a sweet chocolate dessert. 2080 Jamieson Ave., Alexandria

Ellie Bird

This contemporary spot in Falls Church will offer a special four-course menu for “love birds” dining on February 14 and 15. For $105 per person, diners can taste some of the restaurant’s signature dishes. Beverage packages are available for purchase upon reservation. 125 Founder’s Ave., Falls Church

Harrimans

Harrimans, the elegant onsite restaurant at the Salamander Resort in Middleburg, is a prime spot for wining and dining. The $250 Valentine’s Day dinner is available February 14 and 15 and includes dishes such as a quartet of oysters, mushroom tortellini, and a chocolate raspberry tart. 500 N. Pendleton St., Middleburg

Magnolias at the Mill

This Purcellville restaurant, set in a circa-1905 mill and with a locally focused menu, is a staple dining destination for a reason. Couples who dine here on Valeninte’s Day will experience a three-course meal with dishes such as crab galette, steak and lobster, and a warm brownie to finish. Prices vary between $75 and $115. 198 N. 21st St., Purcellville

Yume Sushi

Dine on fresh Japanese cuisine at Yume Sushi, where a six-course chef’s tasting menu is available from February 10 to February 17. Tickets are available on Opentable for $150 per person. 2121 N. Westmoreland St., Arlington
