7 Places to Grab a Decadent Espresso Martini in NoVA

Try these takes on the popular dessert cocktail.

Espresso martinis, a longtime cocktail menu staple, are having a moment. Whether you can’t stop singing Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” or love pairing the drink with a sweet treat, here are seven places who have tasty takes on the beverage. 

Coco B’s Espressotini 

The lively Arlington spot has an espresso martini on the menu made with Baileys, Kahlúa, vodka, espresso, and a touch of cinnamon. Pair it with the chef’s signature tres leche bread pudding on the menu for a tasty treat. 2854 Wilson Blvd., Ste. B, Arlington 

Wilson Hardware’s Espresso Martini with a Twist 

Wilson Hardware, which serves contemporary American fare, offers classic cocktails with a twist, including a version of an espresso martini. The cocktail includes traditional ingredients like Tito’s vodka, Kahlúa, Frangelico, and simple syrup. If you’d like a bit of a variation, the restaurant offers a white chocolate version with Godiva white chocolate liqueur. Yearning for summer’s return? Try the frozen espresso martini with vanilla vodka, coffee, and simple syrup. 2915 Wilson Blvd., Arlington 

Ozzie’s Good Eats’ Espresso Martini 

Ozzie’s offers a traditional take on the espresso martini with vodka, Kahlúa, Baileys Irish cream, and espresso. Pair it with dessert options like a tiramisu Ho Ho or hot fudge sundae perfect for sharing. A portion of all dessert sales go toward Feeding America. 11880 Grand Commons Ave., Fairfax 

Trattoria Villagio’s Tiramisu Martini  

This authentic Italian eatery takes its espresso martini to the next level. The tiramisu martini creation is made with rum, Mozart chocolate liqueur, Liquor 43, amaretto, mascarpone cream, and the usual Kahlúa and Lavazza espresso. 7145 Main St., Clifton 

Makers Union’s Swing’s Espresso Martini 

The laid-back Makers Union has this espresso martini on its brunch menu. The cocktail is made with vodka, Grind espresso liqueur, and Swing’s espresso. 1811 Library St., Reston 

The Maple Room’s After Midnight 

Some of The Maple Room’s cocktails have whimsical names like 007 Octopussy and the current espresso martini is called After Midnight. The drink has espresso, vodka, Amaro Nonino, and pumpkin. 377 Maple Ave. W., Vienna 

Earls’ Don Julio and Nitro Espresso Martinis  

Earls has two takes on an espresso martini. There’s a tequila version on the menu with Don Julio reposado tequila, Licor 43, Kahlúa, and cold brew. The nitro espresso martini ismade with ketel One vodka, Kahlúa, and cold brew coffee. 7902 Tysons One Pl., McLean
