Spooktacular Sips Await at These Halloween Pop-Up Bars in NoVA and DC

Get ready for a thrilling Halloween with a lineup of pop-up bars featuring creepy cocktails and haunting atmospheres.

Dive into the Halloween spirit with a lineup of pop-up bars across the region. Each venue offers concoctions, ghostly ambience, and costume-friendly fun for a spine-tingling night out.

Beetlejuice Pop-Up Afterlife Experience 

Through October 19 

Head to this speakeasy-style bar housed inside Winchester’s The Monument music venue for ghoulish vibes. This Halloween event spotlights Beetlejuice-inspired cocktails like the Bio-Exorcist, a blend of apple pie moonshine, basil, and apple cider; mocktails; and tapas. 18th Rebellion Speakeasy: 186 N. McClellan’s Retreat 

Through October 31 

This Kalorama bar brings a Halloween-inspired cocktail menu celebrating the 1962 classic song “Monster Mash.” Signature drinks include the smoky It Caught On Like a Flash, featuring cask-strength rum, and the wasabi-infused Crypt-Kicker Five. Nightmare on Q Street 

Through October 31 

Nightmare on Q Street at Hank’s Dupont Circle presents cocktails inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Revel in drinks like The Doctor’s In with silver tequila, lime juice, and blood orange puree, or Riff Raff’s Reprise with Absolut Wild Berri vodka and a red wine float. The Wizard’s Pour 

October 31

Nightmare on the Avenue displays spooky décor designed to transport you into a haunted house. The bar is filled with eerie decorations, dim lighting, and haunting visuals at every corner. Along with chilling music and entertainment, the atmosphere is perfect for anyone looking to embrace the Halloween spirit. Themed cocktails, like the Seattle Slasher and Witches Heart, and food items like “Fried Bat Wings” add to the eerie experience. Costumes are encouraged for the ultimate frightful night. The Nightmare Before Bar 

Through November 3 

Inspired by Tim Burton’s films and horror classics, this themed bar features a spooky 90-minute ticketed experience with a complimentary welcome drink, a full Halloween menu, and interactive games hosted by ghosts and ghouls.
