Where to Eat Near the Cherry Blossoms and Tidal Basin?

Here are seven options within 20 minutes of DC’s iconic cherry blossoms.

Seeing the cherry blossoms bloom is one of the area’s most hallowed pastimes, and while the blossoms are an awe-inspiring sight, between all the walking and the crowds, you are likely to work up quite the appetite. Luckily, there are dining options close by. Check out these restaurants for the perfect pairing for your cherry blossom outing.  

WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF TIDAL BASIN  

Potbelly Sandwich Works 

11-minute walk 

For a quick bite that’s easy on the wallet, Potbelly ticks all the boxes. Not only is it cheap, but it’s also the perfect food to pack up for a picnic. Grab your sandwiches to-go and hit the road. 1240 Maryland Ave. SW, Washington, DC
