If you spend your weekends at the vineyard, it may be time to consider joining a wine club.

Do you love a nice glass of wine? Do you enjoy having exclusive membership perks? Does the idea of spending time in some of the most beautiful parts of Northern Virginia excite you? If the answer to all of those questions is yes, then you may want to consider becoming a member at one of Virginia’s extraordinary wine clubs. Home to some of the best wineries in the state, here are just a few of the many regional wine club options.

8 Chains North

Join 8 Chains North’s wine club to enjoy all of the exclusive member benefits. This includes 20 percent off on all wine purchases, complimentary wine tastings for members and one additional guest, access to 8 Chains North library wines, and more. Your one-year membership gets you three bottles per quarter or six bottles twice a year. And one of the most exciting perks with an 8 Chains North membership is that club members get to experience wine that was crafted exclusively for them. Membership is free to join and allows you the option to either collect your wine at the winery as part of a “quarterly pick up” club or have bottles shipped directly to you on a quarterly or semi-annual basis as part of the “ship-to club.” The quarterly wine cost is approximately $75-$85, and the semi-annual wine cost runs around $150-$170. 38593 Daymont Ln., Waterford

Early Mountain Vineyards

Early Mountain’s 1784 Wine Club was crafted to appeal to wine connoisseurs and wine enthusiasts alike — with membership benefits that include four seasonal installments, each featuring three hand-selected bottles by winemaker Maya Hood White. Club members also gain access to 15 percent off all Early Mountain wine and retail items, invitations to member pickup parties, and members-only events, as well as access to rotating options for small batch, newly released, member favorites, or award-winning wines with each shipment. Pricing runs between $75-$110 (before taxes and shipping, if applicable). 6109 Wolftown-Hood Rd., Madison

The Winery at Bull Run

If you’re someone who likes endless options, the Winery at Bull Run may be the right wine club for you. It offers a variety of membership packages — including the Generals Club, the King Carter Red Wine Club, and the Miss Lilly Lee White Wine Club — all which include 15-20 percent off a purchase of 12 or more bottles, access to exclusive club-only events, and offers and access to the Members-Only Generals Deck with vineyard and horse farm views. Keep in mind that the deck is only for those age 21 and older. A complimentary tasting of the three wines that are included in your quarterly installment is available upon weekend pickup. Members have the ability to enjoy discounted glasses of wine at the exclusive happy hour everyday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. You can join now for $30-$100. 15950 Lee Hwy., Centreville

Breaux Vineyards

Do you like trying limited-edition wines? Join Breaux’s Cellar Club to gain access to artisan, small batch, premium wines made just for the club members by winemaker Josh Gerard. Members have the opportunity to purchase these exclusive Cellar Club wines while supplies last. Perks included under the Cellar Club membership are 50 percent off regular tasting fees for you and one guest; access to members-only events including Cellar Club release celebrations and holiday gatherings; and exclusive access to the Grand Oak Room, Heritage Room, and Les Amis Patio on Saturdays and Sundays. You also get exclusive access to the vineyard’s stemmed Riedel glassware. The Cellar Club has four releases per year which vary in price from $85-$130 (additional charges for shipping). 36888 Breaux Vineyards Ln., Purcellville

District Winery

If you don’t mind traveling to into DC, the wine club at District Winery will likely make it worth the trip. This wine club has no signup or annual fees and allows you to choose between whites and light wines, red wines, or the winemaker’s choice in your quarterly shipment. You can customize whether you’d like four, six, or 12 bottles per quarter. Membership benefits include 20 percent off all wine purchases or winery tours and classes, VIP access to ticketed events and members-only wine and culinary experiences, and one wine tasting for you and a guest every month. Pricing ranges from $99-$329, depending on the package and number of bottles you select. 385 Water St. SE, Washington, DC
