If there’s one thing Northern Virginia foodies are obsessed with, it’s food halls. And the region has taken note, opening up new options left and right. See if the trend is worth all the rage by enjoying a snack, drink, or meal at these unique dining options.

Ballston Quarter

Coming off a renovation a few years ago, Ballston Quarter now features an indoor and outdoor food hall, better known as the “Quarter Market.” Located in the heart of Arlington, it has 12 original fast casual restaurants that you can choose from, including homemade pizzas at Turu’s by Timber, fried chicken sandwiches at Hot Lola’s, and delicious Indian food at Bollywood Bistro. 4238 Wilson Blvd., Arlington

Chefscape

With options ranging from American to classic Italian and Colombian palates, the growing Chefscape is a must-visit for food lovers. With five restaurants, guests are bound to experience a mouthful of multicultural food options and crafty cocktails while being entertained with live performances. 1602 Village Market Blvd. SE, Ste. 120, Leesburg

epiQ Food Hall

One of the largest food halls in the region, epiQ is home to 10 different food and drink spots. From birria tacos and vegan soul food to Japanese comfort food, diners will definitely find something that satisfies their cravings. Plus, the food hall offers tons of entertainment options everyday. They have football Sundays, family movie nights every Tuesday, and game nights every Friday. So, kick back and relax while trying their diverse dining options. 14067 Noblewood Plz., Woodbridge

Assembly

Located Rosslyn, this gourmet food hall is perfect for those who enjoy sipping on drinks. It has four bars, a coffee shop, and each location features a unique alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinking menu. James Beard-nominated executive chef Brian Huston curated seven trendy “concepts” that encourage all sorts of guests to dine in and enjoy the company of others. It’s also set to debut a first floor grocery and convenience store. 1700 N. Moore St., Arlington

Spice Village

Featuring four eccentric cuisines that you don’t see often in NoVA, this unique food hall should be on your radar. With Mughal empire-inspired food, halal Chinese dishes, an Australian steakhouse, and the well known Peri-Peri Original, our mouths are already watering with all of these delicious options. 2501 Centreville Rd., Herndon

The Block Foodhall and Bar

This is the OG food hall that started the food hall craze throughout the DMV. The popular spot has taken over Annandale and now has two additional locations in North Bethesda and Washington, DC. The first Asian food hall in the region to operate three different locations, The Block is Asian American-, immigrant- , and female-owned. Every night, each location features entertainment to go along with your poke, boba, birria ramen, roti tacos, and more. 4221 John Marr Dr., Annandale

UrbanSpace

Located on the third floor, UrbanSpace is known for its connections with chefs throughout its New York City and Chicago locations, along with multiple pop-ups in other major cities. They offer exquisite culinary dishes. Our favorite part about this food hall is that it’s conveniently located inside the galleria, which makes it the perfect pit stop during your shopping trip. You can find exquisite culinary dishes including Japanese comfort food, pizza, empanadas, coffee, and smoothies. 2001 International Dr., Third Floor, McLean
