You might want to put on your stretchy pants for this one.

On Sunday, June 2, 18 neighborhood restaurants will gather for the 11th annual Taste of Del Ray festival to put their best brews and bites to the test in hopes of earning local honors through the People’s Choice Award.

Over 500 guests are expected to taste to their heart’s content (or their stomach’s, for that matter), with samples from participating restaurants such as Al’s Steak House, Catch on the Ave, Del Ray Café, KAiZEN Tavern, Swing’s Coffee Roasters and more.

New for the 2019 celebration includes VIP ticket access, which allows attendees to start tasting and voting for their favorites 45 minutes prior to general admission, as well as a VIP-only wine tasting.

The event will be held at the Pat Miller Neighborhood Square and the United Bank parking lot, located at the intersection of Mt. Vernon and Oxford Avenues.
