Looking to bring a cuddly, playful feline companion into your home? These four cats are available to adopt now at local animal shelters.

Meet Carmello
The handsome gray tabby cat Carmello is shy but kindhearted. He’s cautious and takes some time to warm up to new situations, but he has become more comfortable with human interaction during his time at the shelter. He is often overlooked for more social cats, but he’ll be best friends with anyone who offers him a lickable treat. Carmello would do best in a quiet home, as he prefers those who move slowly and speak softly. Carmello is available at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

Meet Sammie
West Virginia native Sammie is currently calling Mount Purrnon Cat Café home. He is a cuddly boy who likes to be picked up and held often. He loves to spend his time chasing laser pointers or curling up beside his humans. Sammie is good with kids but gets defensive around other cats, so he would do best in a home without other pets.

Meet Quinn
Everyone who meets this friendly feline is sure to fall in love with her. Quinn is a 3-year-old domestic shorthair who loves to spend time cuddling with humans. When she isn’t busy receiving chin scratches, she has fun chasing strings around the house and watching wildlife through the window. Quinn is available through Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation.

Meet Chanice
Chanice is a 2-year-old female cat eagerly awaiting her forever family. She is a sweet, affectionate feline who is ready to be pampered like royalty. Chanice can be shy at first, but once she comes out of her shell, it’s clear to see that she’s friendly and lovable. Chanice’s favorite activities include bird watching, playing with toy mice, and asking for pets. Chanice is available through Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation.
