Several puppies rescued by Virginia-based Green Dogs Unleashed, including a beagle from the Envigo breeding facility, will be among the 122 dogs in Puppy Bowl XIX.
June, the beagle rescued along with nearly 4,000 other beagles from the Cumberland, Virginia, breeder, will compete on Team Ruff as Allison, Green Dogs Unleashed said on its Facebook page. A Charlottesville family adopted Allison after the Puppy Bowl was taped, and changed her name.

Kayden, a Great Pyrenees mix that cannot hear, will also be in the bowl, the organization says. Kayden, now known as Bear, lives in Maryland.

Cheeky Tinder, a deaf mini Australian shepherd, will compete on Team Fluff. Cheeky Tinder was adopted by a Richmond family and renamed Pepper, Green Dogs Unleashed says.

Green Dogs Unleashed says Julius, a deaf Dalmatian adopted by a Chesapeake family, will be in the mix, too. Julius was renamed Mako.
Also from Green Dogs Unleashed on Team Fluff will be Velma, a Great Dane. Velma will be in the starting lineup.
Another beagle rescued from the shuttered Envigo facility will show off his paws. Brisco now lives a pampered life in Norfolk, according to the Virginian-Pilot.
Puppies from 67 shelters in 34 states will play for three hours on the Animal Planet field at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 12.
