Northern Virginia is going to the dogs. Playful Pack, a local doggy daycare and boarding center, is spreading rapidly across the region.
The first Playful Pack opened in Fairfax Station just two years ago in November 2019. Now, it’s about to grow to six locations. The daycare opened its second in McLean in May, followed by Annapolis, Maryland, shortly after. Work on the new Alexandria, Rosslyn, and Leesburg locations is underway.
The popular daycare has found success by consciously shaping the pups’ environment. It’s cage-free, for one, but they make the most of that space. The daycare’s staff group the dogs by size and energy level, and set up daily activities for them.
Most importantly, you’ll know that the staff is taking good care of your pup. You can check in at any time thanks to the company’s video cam system.
For current locations, doggy daycare is $30 per day, while overnight rises to $65. Plus, you’ll know your dollar is helping out more pups. Playful Pack fosters dogs from local pet shelters.
