Dog Agility Classes
Fairfax County Parks and Rec Department is holding numerous agility classes for dogs this summer. Either at Frying Pan Park or the South Run RECenter, dogs can work on their competitive skills with a tiered class schedule for agility, or they can just have their own summer camp with the Dog Agility for Fun of It classes. Semper K9 Second Annual Obedience Olympiad
Dogs and their owners compete in multiple events like an obstacle course, relay race, retrieval and other events all in the name of raising funds for Semper K9, a nonprofit based out of Woodbridge. All the Presidents Pups Walking Tour

Sailing Excursions
With Potomac Riverboat Company’s Canine Cruise, your leashed dog will love accompanying you on the hourlong tour of the Alexandria seaport. // Cameron and Union Streets, Alexandria
Lake Accotink Park canine cruises take place this summer on July 15 and 29 and Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Cruises last about 30 minutes. // 7500 Accotink Park Road, Springfield
Cruises on the Bay by Watermark Annapolis takes tours along the waterways of Annapolis Harbor, Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Chesapeake Bay. Dogs must be leashed and trips last anywhere from 40 minutes to a full day depending on the tour you choose. //cruisesonthebay.com
