This summer break, get the kids outside and enjoy the season with live entertainment. If you’re looking for shows that are appropriate for young audiences, check out these kids’ concert series happening in NoVA — the little ones will be singing and dancing along in no time.

Wolf Trap Theatre-in-the-Woods

Bring the kids to a morning show at Wolf Trap’s Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, where they’ll be immersed in nature, music, and fun. Just like the main venue, this little stage has a full schedule of great entertainers all summer. Catch magician The Amazing Max June 26 to 28, bilingual Goldilocks musical Ricitos and the Three Bears July 10 to 12, and a Dinosaur Hunter Safari July 29 and 30. 1551 Trap Rd., Vienna

Kids on the Green

Every Tuesday in June, July, and August, Vienna hosts a free, kid-friendly show on the Freeman Store patio. Families can gather on lawn chairs or picnic blankets to sing and dance along with a 30- to 45-minute performance from family performers. See West African drumming on June 30, The Great Zucchini magician on July 14, and the Fangs, Frogs, & More reptile show on August 11. 131 Church St. NE, Vienna

Family Fun Entertainment Series at Reston Town Center

Looking for something to do with the kids on the weekend? Head to Reston Town Center for family concerts every Saturday at 10 a.m. from July 4 to 25. Reston Town Center: 11900 Market St., Reston

Arts in the Parks

Throughout Fairfax County, you’ll find plenty of free entertainment with Arts in the Parks, a children’s entertainment series that brings concerts, puppet shows, magicians, and more to seven area parks. Shows are on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and Saturday evenings, depending on the location. Catch favorite acts like the Great Zucchini and Marsha and the Positrons in multiple shows across different locations. Locations vary

Kids Concert Series at One Loudoun

Rocknoceros, a popular area group that performs for kids, takes the stage at One Loudoun’s plaza at 11 a.m. every Monday through August 31. Kids will love to hear tunes like “Five Little Monkeys,” “Early Worm,” and “The Train Song.” 20365 Exchange St., Ashburn

Free Concert Series at Lubber Run Amphitheater

Arlington’s free concert series at Lubber Run has showtimes on Sunday mornings, plus 8 p.m. shows on Fridays and Saturdays. Some kid-friendly shows this season include Latin singer-songwriter Mamá Elena on June 21 and “A Sidewalk Stroll/Un Paseo Por La Acera” by Encore Stage & Studio on June 28. N. Columbus Street and Second Street N., Arlington

Free Concert Series at the National Museum of the Marine Corps

For concerts that are family-friendly but not specifically geared toward kids, the National Museum of the Marine Corps hosts free shows on Thursday evenings. There are three shows from “The Presidents Own” U.S. Marine Band, plus performances from the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters and the U.S. Navy Band Cruisers. 1775 Semper Fidelis Way, Triangle
