There will soon be new opportunities for families to jump and play around NoVA. Sky Zone, a popular chain of indoor trampoline parks, will open three new locations in the area.
The Los Angeles–based company has announced that it plans to bring three new parks to the DMV area, in Alexandria, Arlington, and Frederick, Maryland. The new locations are expected to open by next year.
The Arlington and Alexandria locations will be operated by an investor group that includes Adebara Lawrence, Akintunde Ola, John Odilli, and Olatokunboh Abereoje, while the Frederick location will be overseen by IT and real estate entrepreneurs Abi and Betty Ayodeji.
“As we approach the milestone of our 300th park, we’re so grateful to be working alongside such talented entrepreneurs like those of our upcoming DC metro locations,” said Mike Revak, president of Sky Zone Franchise Group, in a news release. “With the help of our franchise owners, we look forward to bringing the joy of Sky Zone to many more families across the U.S.”
The parks provide plenty of entertainment opportunities, including freestyle jumps on the facility’s trampolines; games like ultimate dodgeball, Skyjoust, and Skyhoops; and a Foam Zone. Visitors can choose to purchase 90- or 120-minute passes, all-day passes, or sign up for a membership.
Sky Zone was founded in 2004, and today owns, operates, and franchises over 270 parks. In Northern Virginia, there are existing Sky Zone locations in Manassas, Springfield, Woodbridge, and Sterling.
