Cookie season is upon us! Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and it marks the beginning of the holiday season. Of course, that means that holiday events are popping up across town, including gingerbread house-making classes and workshops. Head to these ones, below, for family-friendly fun.

Gingerbread House Workshop
Saturday, Nov. 23, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 1-2:30 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m.
Follow the gumdrop tail to The Enchanted Forest, the Junior League of Northern Virginia’s annual fundraising event that features a wide variety of holiday activities for the whole family, including a gingerbread house workshop. The Gingerbread Gala at Williams Martial Arts and Fitness will feature not only houses, but also gingerbread men.
