Ritz-Carlton Tysons Debuts Kids Book, New Family Hotel Package

“Out There, In Here” features Leo the Lion going on adventures in Northern Virginia.

The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner is launching a new experience for young guests. The hotel has released a new kids’ book, Out There, In Here, that accompanies its new Storytime Adventure Experience.

“Looking ahead, Out There, In Here will serve as the foundation for a series of family-focused experiences at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. We integrated the book into a thoughtfully designed room package that brings Leo the Lion’s journey to life,” the company said. “By pairing the story with meaningful on-property experiences, we aim to inspire young travelers, enrich family stays and create enduring connections to both our hotel and destination.”

The “bespoke” children’s book “invites young guests to discover the charm and beauty of Northern Virginia through the gentle adventure of Leo the Lion,” the Ritz Kids mascot. It was made specifically for the Ritz-Carlton by author Larry Issa and illustrator Oleg Goncharov.

The book is not available for standard purchase. Instead, it’s available to guests who book the family-focused Storytime Adventure Experience.

This package can be booked on the Ritz-Carlton website through the end of the year. The package includes hotel accommodations, the book, a kids’ bathrobe, a Ritz-Kids tote bag, a coloring book and crayons, and milk and cookies delivered to the room.

Prices for the storybook package vary based on room rates. It requires a promotional booking code (ZJL) and must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance.
