The All American Reptile and Plant Expo Returns to NoVA

Spend the weekend admiring snakes, lizards, turtles, and more.

By Emily Perez February 26, 2026 at 8:00 am

Reptile and plant lovers will get another chance to admire some green and scaly friends. The All American Reptile and Plant Expo is making its way back to the Fredericksburg Convention Center from March 6 to 8.

The traveling expo — known for drawing enthusiasts, collectors, and curious kids — will take over the convention center for three days. You can spend the day with vendors, activities, and up-close encounters with creatures you don’t typically find at your neighborhood pet store.

Explore rows of geckos, amphibians, invertebrates, and exotic reptiles. Plant lovers can browse rare house plants, tropical greenery, and specialty supplies to upgrade their indoor jungle. Kids will be able to participate in face painting, giveaways, and prizes throughout the weekend.

The weekend begins with a Friday VIP night, offering early access for those eager to get a first look at the plants and reptiles. General admission continues Saturday and Sunday, with a special VIP hour Saturday morning before doors open to the public.

Single-day tickets start at $8 per child and $17.50 per adult. VIP tickets are $25 per child and $45 per adult and include entry for all three days. Parking is free, and tickets are available both online and at the door. Personal pets are not permitted, so plan to leave your own critters at home.
