Meet the Easter Bunny at These Upcoming Events

From holiday brunches to seasonal festivals, the Easter Bunny is making the rounds in NoVA this year.

When it comes to Easter, meeting the Easter Bunny may be on your list of things that must be done. 

If you’re in pursuit of a place to spot the fluffy figurehead, make a fun day of it at one of these upcoming events. 

Breakfast with the Bunny 

Drop by The nZone this weekend for a morning full of fun. Eat breakfast, take photos with the Easter Bunny, and meet live bunnies and alpacas at this family event. Visitors can look forward to games and crafts throughout the morning. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. April 1, with guests welcome until 10:30 a.m. Free, 14550 Lee Rd., Chantilly 

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Lost Barrel Brewing guests of all ages are welcome to dine and meet the Easter Bunny. The restaurant will have its full food and drink menu, as well as special breakfast items. Tickets include a table for your group, three to five photos with the Easter Bunny, and a goodie bag for every guest. The event runs on from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. April 1. $10 per guest, 36138 John Mosby Hwy., Middleburg 

Easter Egg Hunt  

Children can explore My Gym’s indoor playground in a new way as they search the monkey bars, tunnel, and everywhere in between for Easter eggs, which are stuffed with non-candy treats. The Easter Bunny will be on site for pictures. There will be games, songs, and puppets joining in the fun. Each child receives a basket for egg collecting. The April 1 event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. for children three and under, and from 6:30 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. for all ages (6 months – 9 years). $20 per child, each additional sibling gets $5 off, 9566 Burke Rd., Burke 

Easter Egg Hunt

Kids are invited to hunt for Easter eggs at Ida Lee ParkSaturday. Participants will receive a bag to collect eggs as they enter, and a treat bag at the end of their hunt. The Easter Bunny will be on site for photo ops. Children will be entered in a prize basket drawing. Winners will be notified the following week. Register by March 31 to participate. No same day registration. The event takes place from noon to 3 p.m. April 1. $10 for kids 1 – 8, free for accompanying family members, 60 Ida Lee Dr. NW, Leesburg 

Princess and Superhero Egg Hunt 

Bring a basket and join Spiderman, Rapunzel, and the Easter Bunny for an egg hunt at Fort Ward Park Saturday . The annual event includes a character show, face painting, and, of course, the egg hunt, which features Easter eggs filled with toys. The event is open to all ages, and sets aside a special area where children under three can hunt. Check-in begins at 10 a.m. April 1 Pre-registration required, $25, 4301 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria 

Easter Family Festival  

The Easter Bunny is hopping down the bunny trail all the way to Shipgarten for a day of family fun. This Easter festival includes three rounds of Easter egg hunts for kids, crafts, face painting, and moon bounces. There will be live music, music bingo, food, and more. The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 2. Free, 7581 Colshire Dr., McLean 

Egg Hunt 

Easter at the Perch has a little bit of everything: Photo ops with the Easter bunny, live music, egg hunts. There will be Easter-themed crafts, a petting zoo with alpacas and bunnies, and sack races. Adults can look forward to the Easter k’EGG roll and live entertainment featuring Captain Seawalker and his Yacht Rock EGGS’travaganza. Check in begins at 9:30 a.m. on April 8. Egg hunt starts at 10 a.m. $20 per child, free for adults, 1805 Capitol One Dr., Tysons 

Hoppy Egg Hunt

Children can hunt eggs, enjoy arts and crafts, and take photos with the Easter bunny. The hunt runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 8, with specific times for each age group. $10, 814 Ferndale Ave., Herndon 

Spring Fest 

Kids between three and eight can join in the fun, making arts and crafts that celebrate springtime. The Easter Bunny is coming, too, making this the perfect opportunity for a family photo. If you’re up for a challenge, participate in the parent-child egg hunt. It’s from 10 a.m. to noon. April 8. Pre-registration is required. $5 per person, free for children under 3, 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean 

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Celebrate Easter weekend at Theismann’s Restaurant with a family-style breakfast and a special Easter Bunny appearance. There’s an Easter egg hunt and an opportunity for children to make their own Easter baskets. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. April 8 and April 9. $45 per adult, $25 per child. 1800 Diagonal Rd., Alexandria
