The White House opens up its lottery for free tickets to the White House Easter Egg Roll at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The egg roll for kids 12 and younger will be held Monday, April 10, on the South Lawn.
The online lottery will run from Thursday, March 16, until 3 p.m. Thursday, March 23.
Winners will be randomly picked and notified by email on or after Monday, March 27.
The lottery requires an adult to apply with the child, with a maximum of two adults attending. The White House limits tickets to six per household. Each household is allowed one entry.

Last year, the egg roll drew 30,000 people.
The White House Easter Egg Roll also is looking for volunteers who are 18 or older.
To volunteer, register online no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, March 23.
