Each week, campers at Browne Academy in Alexandria are introduced to new entertainment through themed weeks. The first week is all about celebrating summer with activities campers love most about the season. Another week, campers focus on camping activities and then have a celebration for the United States during the week of July 4. Other themes include bugs, art, an Amazing Race-focused week and pirates. At the end of the season, campers perform at the Grand Finale before an audience to show off many of their talents. But this traditional camp isn’t the only offering from Browne Academy during the summer. Children can also choose from specialty camps including martial arts, fired arts, drone flying, cooking and more.
