In a fun, high-energy environment, instructors at Acting for Young People help students develop acting skills, build self-confidence and make new friends while they learn from working professionals in the theater and film industries. Each one-week camp session has a unique theme. Students are divided into groups based on their age, and all campers participate in a final presentation on the Friday of each week in George Mason’s professional TheaterSpace. Showcase programs provide a more intensive, production-based experience for campers, while they work on a world premiere play or musical.

Age Range: 5-18 years old
Camp Dates: June 18-Aug. 10
Sessions: Full day, weekly, day camp
Registration: $235-$370; afyp.org
