Arlington County Police are investigating a New Year’s Eve road rage incident in which one driver wounded another driver, broke his glasses, and stole his electronics.

On December 31, 2024, shortly before 3 p.m., two drivers became involved in a dispute at the intersection of Crystal Drive and Potomac Avenue. Both drivers parked and exited their vehicles on the 3600 block of South Glebe Road, and a physical altercation ensued, according to a news report from ACPD.

During this fight, the suspect reportedly struck the victim with an unknown object, causing a laceration. He then broke the victim’s glasses, stole his electronics, and fled the scene.

The suspect was described as an Indian man, about 28 years old, between 180 and 190 pounds, and approximately 5-foot-9-inches, with short black hair. He was driving a gray Toyota Camry.

The victim sustained minor injuries and declined transport to the hospital.
