Reston will soon be home to a new hotel that includes a restaurant run by an award-winning executive chef and a rooftop bar. AC Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott Reston opens in January and is located the next phase of Reston Town Center.
The complex will have 267 guest rooms on 16 floors. Of those, 147 rooms in the AC Hotel will have a modern design. The 650-square-foot studios and one-bedroom suites at the Residence Inn will have fully equipped kitchens.

Run by Donohoe Hospitality Services, the property will have 11,300 square feet of meeting event space, a spa-style indoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, a full-service restaurant, and an all-season rooftop bar and lounge.
“It’s a place where people come to connect, unwind, and indulge in luxury while feeling right at home. Whether you are a guest of the property or someone in the community looking to enjoy refined cocktails and delicious food in a place where comfort and inclusion is key, we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors,” said Donavon Delarosa, the complex’s general manager.
Restaurant and Rooftop Bar

“The restaurant’s name itself is an homage to the seven principles of Reston founder Robert E. Simon, who created a blueprint for a community where residents could live, work, and play in harmony,” a news release said.
Seven Restaurant & Bar will be under the direction of award-winning executive chef Alexis Hernandez. Hernandez has worked as the executive chef at DC’s Dirty Martini, Capitol Hill’s Romeo & Juliet, and Revival Hotel/Topside in Baltimore. He’s also worked as the sous chef at DC’s French restaurant Le Diplomate and Zengo.

From the hotel’s SYN Rooftop Bar & Lounge, you’ll have “panoramic views of Northern Virginia. SYN will offer an innovative approach to dining and cocktails — pairing craft, artfully-designed libations with small, shareable plates,” the news release said.
The hotel will be located at 1975 Opportunity Way.
