When Northern Virginians Can Vote Early on Weekends in the Presidential Election

Early voting on weekdays is underway. Find out when each NoVA jurisdiction lets voters cast ballots on Saturdays and Sundays.

Early voting for the November 5 presidential election started in Virginia Friday. Northern Virginia residents will have several Saturday and Sunday options to cast their ballots.

In Fairfax County, three sites opened Friday, and another 13 are set to open Thursday, October 17.

Saturday voting at the Fairfax County Government Center, Mount Vernon Governmental Center in Alexandria, and the North County Governmental Center in Reston takes place September 21, October 19, October 26, and November 2. Sunday voting will be on October 27.

Alexandria can vote on both weekend days at the Office of Voter Registration & Elections on the following Saturdays: October 5, October 12, October 19, October 26, and November 2. Sunday voting will take place on October 27. Weekend voting takes place at the Charles E. Beatley, Jr. Central Library, George Washington Middle School, and the Minnie Howard Campus of Alexandria City High School on October 26 and 27 and November 2.

In Arlington County, Saturday and Sunday voting starts October 19 at Courthouse Plaza, Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center, Madison Community Center, and Walter Reed Community Center.

Loudoun County offers Saturday voting at the Office of Elections in Leesburg, Carver Senior Center in Purcellville, Claude Moore Recreation Center in Sterling, and Dulles South Recreation Center on October 26 and November 2.

In Prince William County, you can cast a ballot on two Sundays: October 13 and October 20. Saturday voting will be October 19, October 26, and November 2. Early voting takes place on weekends at the main elections office in Manassas, the A.J. Ferlazzo Building in Woodbridge, the Brentsville Courthouse, DMV Woodbridge, Dumfries Community Center, and Haymarket Gainesville Library.

Stafford County will have weekend voting on two Saturdays, October 26 and November 2 at the General Registrar’s Office, which is now located at 124 Old Potomac Church Road.
