Fairfax County police are investigating whether speed and alcohol contributed to a Sunday morning crash near Cox Farms that killed an Aldie man.
Emmanuel Alexander, 28, was driving a 2017 Jaguar XF when he crashed in the 15600 block of Braddock Road in Centreville around 4 a.m., police said.
When police and fire personnel arrived, they found the car fully engulfed in flames.
Alexander, who was the only one in the vehicle, is the 16th person who was not a pedestrian to die in a Fairfax County crash this year.
Detectives want to talk to anybody who may have seen the crash or who knows anything that would be helpful to their investigation.
