Catch the Alexandria-born star Dermot Mulroney in this new Netflix original film, based on Sarah Dessen’s young adult novel of the same name. Set in a sleepy beach town, two teenage insomniacs meet up to explore the town after-hours. At once a heartfelt coming-of-age story and a bright, funny romance, this is the perfect feel-good flick for the summer.

The New York Times’ culture podcast, Still Processing is back for a new season, tackling all things pop culture. Topics on the drawing board this go-around include Top-40 lists and television theme songs, with guest experts popping in to provide insight. Alexandria’s Jenna Wortham, one of the show’s co-hosts, has turned over the reins to her colleague Wesley Morris, who will be running the show while Wortham is away on book leave.
