A head-turning new home is on the market in McLean. The home at 1306 Ballantrae Ct., an “ultra-luxury” property in the Ballantrae Farms neighborhood, has a list price of $10,350,000.

The home is a new construction, and it spans 10,536 square feet, with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms — eight full and one half. The lot size is 1.54 acres.

The house makes a big impression from the moment you step in the door, with a metal-and-glass entry that reveals 11-foot-tall ceilings.

The great room living space is vibrant, with 8-foot Marvin windows and modern lighting fixtures. Throughout the home, you’ll find 7-inch-wide white oak floors. The home is set up with a Crestron smart-home system.

The kitchen features Taj Mahal quartzite slabs, white-oak cabinetry, and Gaggenau appliances. This isn’t the only cooking space — there’s also a secondary “catering kitchen.”

The primary suite is expansive, with more floor-to-ceiling windows. The suite includes a sitting room, a fireplace, a coffee bar, and automated shades.
