A 15-Ton Immersive Cloud Experience Is Landing in DC

The Burning Man–born installation aims to combine art, wellness, and nightlife together under one roof.

By Emily Perez March 30, 2026 at 2:35 pm

Washington, DC’s spring event lineup just got a futuristic twist. The Fluffy Cloud — a towering, 15-ton orb of sound and light — is touching down at Berhta for an immersive playground of art, wellness, and nightlife experiences. It will be in DC from March 31 to April 12.

Born out of Burning Man, the nearly three-story structure uses 200,000 watts of sound and sensory technology to make you feel like you are “swimming through sound.”

“The Fluffy Cloud is an immersive art exhibit, a wellness spa, a concert hall, and a social playground — all in one. It just depends what day you come to check it out,” creator and founder Jorge Perdomo said in a news release. “There’s something for everyone. If you want to experience all the flavors, you’ll have to come more than once.”

Four Distinct Experiences

While the cloud is in DC, there will be four different experiences for visitors to try. Enter Cloudfall, open daily, offers an all-ages experience that blends rock, electronic, and classical music into a high-intensity sensory journey. Expect shifting air, vibrating sound, and a space that feels as alive as the music itself.

For those looking to unplug, the 15-Ton Sound Bath offers a 45-minute, fully reclined “zero-G” immersion for 20 guests at a time. Designed with research from MIT, Harvard University, and NASA, the session uses 360-degree sound and light to induce deep relaxation.

At night, the energy ramps up with Fluffy Cloud Concerts, a three-night series featuring bass, house, and Afro-tech music. The lineup remains under wraps, but organizers promise appearances from notable artists. The opening party is on April 3, and the closing party is on April 11. A special collaboration with the UK-based club Ministry of Sound celebrating its 35th anniversary is on April 4.

For music lovers, the Psychotic JukeBox Lounge is an “anything-goes” party where guests control the music themselves. The only rules: Come ready to have fun, and the weirder you dress the better.

Tickets are available for purchase on Fever.
