‘No Kings’ Protests Planned for Saturday Throughout Northern Virginia

Demonstrations are planned throughout Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Reston, Manassas, and more.

The No Kings movement has more protests planned for Saturday, March 28. More than 3,000 nationwide demonstrations are planned, according to the group’s website, including dozens throughout Northern Virginia.

The organization says this weekend’s demonstrations will build on its 2025 efforts to protest the Trump Administration. “Each time we show up, we disrupt President Trump’s attempts to rule through repression and remind the country, and the world, that people power is our path to a truly free America,” the website says. “We’re coming together again on March 28 to make it clear to the president that his fear and intimidation aren’t working.”

NoVA protests include events in Alexandria, Fairfax, Manassas, and Springfield.

In DC, protesters plan to fly No Kings kites at the annual Cherry Blossom Kite Festival. Some kites will say “Boycott Bezos” in reference to Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, the lead sponsor of the kite festival, USA Today reports.

This is the fourth national No Kings event. Previous protests took place last year on June 12 and October 18, and on March 28
