9 Northern Virginia Food Trucks Serving Mouthwatering Bites and Sips

Find french toast, hot dogs, and authentic Turkish cuisine at these local food trucks.

By Michele Kettner February 13, 2026 at 7:00 am

Northern Virginia is home to many amazing restaurants, but any local foodie would tell you not to sleep on the region’s food trucks. Visit these nine food trucks throughout Northern Virginia to find options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert.

While many of these food trucks have a “home base” location, it’s best to check their schedule for the latest location updates.

Dave’s Dogs

Named one of the Top 100 Food Trucks in the U.S. by Yelp, it’s clear that Dave’s Dog is not just a favorite of Prince William County foodies. Hot dogs, sandwiches, sausages, classic sides, and sweet desserts are all on the menu. Plus, when you leave a tip in the “not tip jar,” the proceeds help animals at the Prince William County Animal Shelter. 14700 Silverdale Dr., Woodbridge

Churros don’t have to be limited to summer fairs and festivals anymore, thanks to Don Churro. The trailer serves the traditional Mexican treat with chocolate, dulce de leche, sweetened condensed milk, and other filling flavors. The red trailer can be found in Arlington, Alexandria, and Washington, DC. Multiple area locations

Flavor Hive

What used to be just one food truck has since expanded into brick-and-mortar stores and trucks across the DMV. The original food truck became a viral sensation with its bring-your-own-container menu option, where you can bring a bag of chips and have it filled with Flavor Hive’s halal meat, cheese, veggies, and sauce. The fast-casual restaurant also serves rice and salad bowls, loaded fries, and quesadillas. Multiple area locations

French Toast

You’ll want to eat breakfast at all hours of the day when you see what’s cooking in this food truck. Choose from seven different over-the-top french toast creations, including strawberry cheesecake stuffed french toast, Fruity Pebbles french toast, cinnamon roll french toast, and seasonal items. The trailer is open Friday through Sunday. 1506 Mount Vernon Ave., Alexandria

S&P Burger

Before opening its food truck in November 2025, S&P Burger grew a loyal following by serving its pressed patties at local festivals. The truck is known for its UFO-shaped halal burger with a variety of toppings. It also serves up a sweet brioche bun filled with Nutella, Biscoff, or cookies and cream, plus ice cream. Check S&P’s Instagram page for its weekly schedule. 23055 Oak Grove Rd., Sterling
