Hershey Is Planning an Interactive Pop-Up in Tysons

The family-friendly experience will include candy-themed activities and a gift shop.

Something sweet is popping up soon in Tysons Corner Center. Hershey Super Sweet Adventure, an interactive pop-up experience, recently filed permits to open in the mall, Washington Business Journal reports.

This will be the second location of the candymaker’s pop-up. Hershey debuted the experience in Chicago last year.

The Chicago pop-up location featured four interactive stations, including a REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup “stuffing” experience and an area to create your own Hershey Kisses foil wrapper. Two other experiences featured the brand’s Twizzlers and Jolly Ranchers candies.

The Chicago pop-up also included a room for private parties and a gift shop. Ticket prices were around $25.

The Hershey Super Sweet Adventure is a collaboration between the candy brand and Original X Productions, which also produces pop-ups based on the popular TV shows Friends and The Office, as well as a Harry Potter–themed experience.

The Hershey Super Sweet Adventure will be located on the first level of Tysons Corner Center next to Macy’s, WBJ reports. The space was most recently occupied by Japanese fashion retailer Uniqlo’s pop-up shop.
