Taco Rock Adds a Foot-Long Taco to Its Menu

Taco Tuesday just got a whole lot more interesting.

As the saying goes, “bigger is better.” And that’s exactly what the chefs at NoVA-based Taco Rock must have thought with their new menu item: a foot-long taco.

Named after head chef Anthony Cordero, The Big Tony Taco is every taco lover’s dream. The taqueria loads the 12-inch tortilla with seasoned ground beef, Tex-Mex rice, black beans, melted queso, lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded Jack cheese, chipotle mayo, and jalapenos.

The taco was added to the menu in September and costs $15. Throughout October, the taqueria is also offering a pink version of The Big Tony Taco to support breast cancer research.

Best known for its housemade blue corn tortillas, Taco Rock first opened in 2019. Its menu boasts nearly 30 different tacos, along with other Tex-Mex favorites like tortas, elote, and fajitas.

You can find The Big Tony Taco at the taqueria’s locations in Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Lorton, and Oakton.
