Win 4 Years of Free College Tuition in Virginia529 Giveaway

By Michele Kettner April 16, 2025 at 11:33 am

Virginia529 has been an integral part of how many Virginia parents save for their child’s college education. This year, the savings plan is getting a new name: Virginia529 will become Invest529. And the program is giving away four years of in-state tuition to celebrate the rebrand.

The sweepstakes is currently open and entry runs through April 30, 2025. A randomly selected winner will receive four years of in-state tuition, $62,000, which will be placed into a new or existing 529 portfolio.

To enter, watch the video on the giveaway page then fill out the form. There is also a mail-in entry option available. The contest is open to everyone, even those residing beyond Virginia state lines.

Additional eligibility requirements include:

  • Entrants must be a U.S. citizen or legal U.S. resident 18 years or older at time of entry.
  • Entrants must meet all Invest529 account owner eligibility requirements set out in the Invest529 program description.
  • Employees of Commonwealth Savers, as well as its agents, successors, and assignees; and individuals engaged in the development, production, or distribution of sweepstakes materials; their advertising and promotion agencies; and any and all other persons associated with the sweepstakes and each of their immediate family members and members of the same household are not eligible to participate in the sweepstakes or be named the beneficiary of the prize.
  • Winning the prize is contingent on fulfilling all requirements set forth in the sweepstakes terms and conditions.

Invest529 will announce the winner of the sweepstakes on or around May 6, 2025.
