Virginia State Police are seeking additional information about a child sexual abuse material case in involving a man who posed as a cheer coach and modeling recruiter.
Jason Fragale, 38, with ties to both Leesburg and Kissimmee, Florida, was arrested in February with five counts each of possession and reproduction of child pornography.
Fragale has ties to the Crimson All-Star Cheerleading Club, which was registered in Reston and Florida. He also presented himself as a coach for USA Cheer and a modeling recruiter for young girls. In late 2022 and spring 2023, he used the alias “Jason Mariani.”
The Northern Virginia–Washington, DC, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force obtained a warrant for Fragale in January following a tip submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Fragale was arrested in a Florida airport while attempting to leave the country.
He was later extradited to Virginia, where he is now in custody.
Investigators are now seeking information from anyone who may have had contact with Fragale before his arrest. Anyone with information should contact Special Agent Michael Bullock at [email protected] or 571-581-4420.
