A Manassas man police wanted for stealing a private ambulance at Inova Fairfax Hospital has been arrested.
Fairfax County police said that on Friday they found Rickey Lowe, 32, of Manassas, “near a hotel in Manassas.”
Lowe now faces charges of grand larceny for the theft of the “MMT” Medical Transport vehicle a week ago.
Photos showed a man dressed in a hospital gown with an IV still in his arm behind the wheel of the ambulance. The man abandoned the vehicle on Annandale Road.
Police said Lowe was one of five people hospitalized after a stolen Toyota Corolla crashed in the area of U.S. 50 and Interstate 66. Police identified the driver as Xxeavius Romoance Marlow, 29, of Manassas. Inside the car, police found guns and drugs.
