There are always new stores and businesses popping up around Northern Virginia. From a fun new lifestyle boutique to a new movie theater, here are six new places that have opened, or are opening soon, to check out this season.

Home and Design

Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, this new shop marks the sixth location of this DMV-area custom framing company. Framebridge’s mission is to help customers get their memories or special mementos out of their drawers and up on the wall where they can truly appreciate them. 1308 King St., Alexandria

TJ Maxx

The holidays are around the corner and there’s no better place than TJ Maxx to stock up on some festive home décor at a reduced price. Sift through the aisles of ceramic pieces, wreaths, kitchenware, and dish towels. Or expand your winter wardrobe with brands like Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Nike and Jessica Simpson. Previously located at 3451 Richmond Highway, Alexandria’s TJ Maxx has now relocated within Potomac Yard Shopping Center. 3875 Richmond Hwy., Ste. 3, Alexandria

From monogrammed ankle socks to oversized, reversible blankets in various prints, The Golden Fox is bound to be the new spot to find personal gifts for the special people in your life, or to treat yourself! The grand opening is set for November 15. 2700 Clarendon Blvd., Ste. 430, Arlington

St. John Boutique

You can now shop St. John’s clothing at Tyson’s Galleria. With casual sweaters and denim, as well as formal wear for cocktail parties and weddings, St. John’s has options for all your attire needs. Shoppers can complete their looks with a range of accessories such as jewelry, handbags, belts, and scarves. The latest store is located on Level 1 near Saks Fifth Avenue. 1805G Galleria at Tysons II, McLean

Entertainment

Galaxy Golf

Love everything golf? You’ll find it at Galaxy Golfin Bailey’s Crossroads. The shop has clubs, golf bags and balls, apparel, shoes, gloves, putting mats, and accessories. The store has in-store fittings and simulator rentals. 5821 Crossroads Center Way, Falls Church

LOOK Dine-in Cinema

This 11-screen, dine-in cinema offers moviegoers a modern, elevated experience through its wall-to-wall oversized screens, digital surround sound system and luxury recliner seating. Located in Reston Town Center, this is LOOK Dine-in Cinema’s first location in Virginia. Grab some friends and try out dinner and a movie by ordering something from the chef-inspired menu straight to your seat. The grand opening is set for November 2. 11940 Market St., Reston
