Antique-hunters and vintage-lovers, rejoice: After an almost 36-month hiatus, The Old Lucketts Store’s annual Spring Market is back.
The long-awaited event will happen October 15 to 17 at the Clarke County Fairgrounds and feature more than 200 vendors from around the country selling vintage items, farmhouse-chic decor, gardening accessories and tools, textiles, and more. And, of course, there will be food trucks, a beer garden, and pumpkins. It’s a Spring Market in October, after all.
Casey McGrath, who has worked at The Old Lucketts Store and its design house for over six years, says that attendees can expect new vendors at this year’s event, along with the ones they’ve grown to know and love over the years.
“Our Spring Market has made itself its own little niche, so our customers are extremely loyal, and so are our vendors,” says McGrath. “We’re gaining new vendors, as well, because other shows [for the fall] have been canceled.”
If you’re new to the Lucketts Spring Market, consider it the place for everything “vintage hip,” with a mix of old and new, and a dash of unique, interesting, and unusual.
“There’s really something for everyone,” says McGrath, adding that vendors are curated to provide an “aesthetically pleasing” atmosphere. So, you won’t find row after row of jewelers or milliners. You can trust the The Old Lucketts Store, led by owner Suzanne Eblen and creative director Amy Whyte, to select a wide variety of the best vendors they can find.
In past years, the Lucketts Spring Market has attracted more than 10,000 visitors over the three days, and McGrath anticipates a big crowd again this year. After all, there’s probably some pent-up demand for the type of crazy-good finds you’d only find there.
VIP tickets will go on sale in July and cost $40, which give attendees access to all three days of the event, including early admission on Friday morning. General admission tickets ($15 per day) will also be available. For more information, visit luckettstore.com. // Clarke County Fairgrounds: 890 W. Main St., Berryville
