The Prince William County Police Department is continuing its annual Polar Plunge virtually. Get in your plunge by Saturday and celebrate with the community on Facebook Live. Proceeds from the event will go toward the Virginia Special Olympics. // free

24-Mile George Washington Birthday Virtual Run, Walk, N’ Roll Challenge

Celebrate George Washington’s birthday with a month-long challenge. Lace up your shoes for a run or walk around the neighborhood as you try to trek 24 miles during the month. Participants will receive a completion certificate and custom-designed George Washington Birthday commemorative coin. // $24
