This month-long, weekly class allows you to get inside the heads of some of the most famous artists and learn how they make their art. From Frida Kahlo to Yayoi Kusama, students will learn about a new artist in each class and create their own work based on the artist’s creative style. // $60
Making Mosaics at Home

Enter the world of stained glass mosaics with the Workhouse Arts Center’s four-week class. Learn how to prepare your materials, cut glass, grout and more to create your own unique glass design from home. // $120 to register, $80-$95 for new student kit
Online Acrylic Painting Class
Saturdays, July 11, 18 & 25 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Loudoun Street Studios’ class allows participants to experience their canceled vacations through art. Spend your Saturdays learning fundamentals of acrylic painting as you paint your favorite places with live feedback from other students and instructors. // $125
Digital Camera Basics

Now is the time to take your camera skills to the next level. Grab your digital SLR or mirrorless camera and learn everything you need to take the perfect picture. Participants will learn about white balance, shooting mechanics, filters and much more. // $179
The Calligraphy Practice Plan
With letter writing making a comeback, now is the perfect time to break out the ink. This five- to 10-week course provides students with over 90 drills to advance their skills.
