2941 has created three Celebrate at Home Care Package for Mother’s Day, each including a bottle of sparkling wine, customizable cake and family-style meals, featuring both French and American dishes. The first includes a 750 ml bottle of sparkling wine, a 5-inch customizable cake and a choice of soup, salad, vegetable, potato and protein, meant to serve three to four people. The second option includes two bottles of sparkling wine, a 9-inch cake and a feast to feed six to eight people. Lastly, the third option includes three bottles, an 11-inch cake and a meal for 10 to 12. You won’t be able to take Mom to River-Sea Chocolates in person this year for its Mother’s Day chocolate tasting course, but fear not—the guided tasting will now be held virtually on Sunday, May 10, with co-founder Mariano D’Aguiar giving you virtual access into the chocolate factory. The one-hour class includes a tasting kit, which will be shipped to your home, and multiple kits can be sent to different addresses if you and Mom are spending the holiday apart. The kits include six 15-gram mini chocolate bars, palate-cleansing crackers and a bag of butterscotch chocolate black tea that was specially prepared by Elden Street Tea Shop. Grab a family-style Mother’s Day dinner to-go from Cedar Knoll, available for pick up on Sunday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The menu includes chicken cordon bleu, beef tenderloin, creamy risotto, spring-themed cookies and more.
