Snead’s Farm
If this is your family’s first time cutting down your own tree, take a trip out to Fredericksburg to visit Snead’s Farm. Not only will you get to choose up to an 8-foot-tall tree, you’ll also get the fresh blue spruces straight from the stem. Country Loving Christmas Tree Farm
This Loudoun County tree farm is the place to get your NoVA trees when you’re looking to pick the one that catches your eye, and have it cut on the spot. The Christmas tree farm has been in business since 1999, and have planted more than 1,000 trees every March. Available trees include white pines, Scotch pines, Norway spruce and red cedar. You’re destined to find the tree for your family’s favorite ornaments. Milltown Creek Tree Farms
Located in northwestern Loudoun County, Milltown Creek Tree Farms offers Christmas trees as beautiful as its scenic views. Load the kids into a complementary wagon, catch the life-size cartoon caricatures for photo ops and enjoy cups of hot cider. The catch? You will get your own saw and pick out the tree you all want most, strap it to the roof of the car and head home. Snickers Gap Tree Farm
This family-owned Christmas tree farm is located near Bluemont, and nestled into the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you’re looking for some fresh air and the chance to cut down your own pine or spruce, this is the place. Show up at the farm and you’ll be given a map, a saw to cut the trunk and a piece of rope to help you pull it back to the sales barn. Whispering Pines Christmas Tree Farm
Looking for a tree from Caroline County? You going to want to hurry! Whispering Pines is saying goodbye to the last group of trees it has for sale for the 2019 holiday season. Come pick and cut your own pine (or grab a fraser fir too, but they’re not pick-your-own!) through the season’s sellout, and bring the bright-green beauties into your home.
